BOOK REDESIGN
Creation of 3-D form that explores literature in a new and interesting context.
This project examines classical dystopian novels as a conversation that society benefits from for a warning. It explores the use of materials, primarily metal to evoke the tactallity of a futuristic handbook. The forms are simplified pictograms of the text, as would be seen on warning signs. The text is taking from various dystopian novels, and etched into metal. The quotes are reflectant on society and how we act within it, setting advice from these novels to show the extreme messures without their wisdom.
